Visit the Largest Vineyards in Madeira
Discover Cabo Girão, the highest cliff in Europe, and enjoy a wine tasting and guided vineyard tour. The relaxing nature and the flavors and traditions of Madeira make this tour memorable.
From Funchal, we drive to Serra d’Agua, a valley at the center of the island. After passing this area, we go off-road, encountering fantastic views over the north of the island (Porto Moniz, Ribeira da Janela, Paúl da Serra, and São Vicente). Then, you have an unforgettable experience with the main wine producers in Madeira, followed by a guided tour through the largest vineyards along with a wine tasting (one rosé, two white, two red – included) and a professional explanation about traditions, wine culture, and wine production.
After this fabulous experience and a lunch break (not included), we continue our tour to one of the most visited places on the island, Cabo Girão, the highest cliff in Europe and second-highest in the world (580 m). This cliff is known for its suspended glass floor viewpoint, which offers a spectacular panoramic view over the Atlantic, Câmara de Lobos, and Funchal.
We finish our tour at the warm and traditional fishing village of Câmara de Lobos, visiting a Madeira wine lodge to taste some of the famous Madeira wines (included): sweet and dry (3 years old), sweet (10 years old) and dry (15 years old). A perfect tour for nature and wine lovers!
