The Perfect Experience for Wine and Dolphin Lovers

Relaxing nature and the flavors and traditions of Madeira make this tour memorable. Discover the beauty of Madeira’s sea on board a catamaran and enjoy watching dolphins!

From Funchal, we drive to Serra d’Agua, a valley at the center of the island. After passing this area, we go off-road, encountering fantastic views over the north of the island (Porto Moniz, Ribeira da Janela, Paúl da Serra, and São Vicente). Then, you have an unforgettable experience with the main wine producers in Madeira, followed by a guided tour through the largest vineyards along with a wine tasting (one rosé, two white, two red – included) and a professional explanation about traditions, wine culture, and wine production.

After this fabulous experience, we continue our tour to one of the most visited places on the island, Cabo Girão, the highest cliff in Europe and second-highest in the world (580 m), known for its suspended glass floor viewpoint, which offers a spectacular panoramic view over the Atlantic, Câmara de Lobos, and Funchal.

After the Jeep tour, you are dropped off at Funchal’s Harbor to start the dolphin watching trip. Come on board the catamaran for a relaxing trip along the south coast of Madeira. The boat trip takes 3 hours, with strong possibilities of seeing dolphins in their natural habitat. During the trip, the crew gives you detailed information about the cetacean species that you are able to see. In the summer months, there is the possibility of swimming below the Cabo Girao cliff. In case you don’t see any cetaceans, we offer a second boat trip. This trip ends in Funchal’s Harbor.

Important Information: The catamaran trip ends in Funchal’s Harbor. Drop-off at the hotel is not included. The Jeep tour starts at 9 am and finishes at 1:30 pm at Funchal Harbor. The catamaran trip starts at 3 pm and finishes at 6 pm.
